Lady Dragons, is a girls lacrosse recreation program located in central New Jersey that participates in Conference E of the Jersey Girls Lacrosse Association (JGLA - www.jerseygirlslacrosse.org). We organize and operate a program with the mission to promote girls' youth lacrosse in an environment that emphasizes fun, while developing skills, teamwork, good sportsmanship, and integrity.
Our spring season runs from February to June with outdoor practices starting in March and games in April. First time lacrosse players are encouraged to participate in the January indoor “basic skills” training that is offered free as part of your child’s paid registration.
The girls will practice Monday's, Wednesday's and Saturdays until games start then just Monday's and Wednesday's. Your coach will determine practice times but generally they are 6pm-7:30pm weekdays and anytime on Saturdays. We try scheduling 12-14 games and two tournaments. Away games are usually within 45 minutes drive as we compete against other local lacrosse clubs.
** NEW! Our 1/2 Division! This program was designed to be an economical way for young girls to try lacrosse and compete in a learning environment. Starts outside mid to late March once the weather breaks and goes through May. However, if we have gym or turf time we may host one or two indoor clinics before we go outside. Girls will play 6-8 games with other town programs and practice once or twice a week.
